Alzheimer's Association

Organization Overview

We are a global non-profit organization that that has many chapter officers throughout the country.


The Northern Arizona Area serves The Quad Cities and The Verde Valley and surrounding areas.


We help individuals, families, caregivers impacted with dementia.


We welcome volunteers to help in the many different departments within the association.  This could be helping to prepare and plan our large Walk to End Alzheimer's event, be an educator, a facilitator of a support group, or participate in advocacy.

Typical Volunteer Tasks

Walk -Help to market, prepare and plan for the annual Walk for the Cure event.

Educate - Help educate our community with presentations.

Advocate - Help lead support group discussions.

Advocacy- Bring forward initiatives at our state capital.


How to Sign Up to Volunteer

Complete the Volunteer Sedona Form Below: Fill out the volunteer form with your details and preferred opportunities. You will then be directed to the IHS form to complete. After you submit, IHS will promptly acknowledge your interest in volunteering and get in contact with you directly.
